Airway Meadows Golf Course is unique in many ways including the runway for planes between the second and eighth fairways. The airfield is also the home of “Saratoga Skydiving” and most days golfers will see not only planes taking off and landing but can watch skydivers floating gracefully to a landing at the bend of the eighth fairway dogleg. The airport also offers a great opportunity for pilots to fly in and play. The course has many ponds, creeks, and ravines traversed by New England style covered bridges for riders and walkers as they journey around the course. On several holes the farm’s beef cattle provide a spectator’s gallery for those who enjoy being watched but get nervous in front of a human audience.
